Love in times of loss
Grief and loss have no fixed form. They shift, search, flow, stir, fall silent and so much more. Sometimes clear, sometimes still, sometimes overwhelming. Every grief process is different and deserves to be acknowledged.
You can grieve the loss of a loved one, but also so many other things: a divorce, a break-up, the loss of a job, your health, leaving your country, a family estrangement or the loss of contact with a parent, child, brother, sister or other family member. The loss of contact with someone who is still alive but feels out of reach,...
At AMOR, your loss has the right to exist.
It is love that helps us carry, heal and begin again, even when everything seems broken. That is why I believe grief and loss are not an ending, but a transformation. An invitation to learn to hold on again: differently than before, but just as deeply and powerfully.
For me, love is and will always be the greatest force that exists.
"Where there is love, there is life." — Gandhi
Every loss is different. Every grief process is unique. Grief moves like the ocean: unpredictable, with its tides, at its own rhythm. My support is tailored to your pace and your needs.
As a therapist I look at you as a whole. At what you feel, what your body is saying, and what lies deeper. Body and mind are fully connected. Instead of focusing on symptoms, together we search for the origin.
I coach in English, Dutch, French and Spanish. Because grief and connection know no borders.
A first conversation is always free and without obligation.

Individual sessions of one hour at my practice in Antwerp, in a warm and safe environment.
Support via video call, from the comfort of your own home, or wherever you are in the world.
A walk creates breathing space. Outside, where there is oxygen and space to let go of what's kept inside. In the city or in nature, you choose.
For those seeking connection with others who also know loss closely. Always with something nice to eat and drink.
Sometimes death arrives unexpectedly, sometimes announced, but always too soon.
I support you and your loved ones in those very first and most vulnerable moments. As someone who is present, who listens and who helps carry what feels too heavy to carry alone. I come to you, at home or at another place of your choice. Also by phone or online. You decide what you need.
For me, grief and loss are not an ending, but a transformation.
Eda Flores
It all began when I was 15 and suddenly lost my grandfather. The man who raised me. My hero. My journey with loss continued in 2002, when I travelled to Chile to say goodbye to my father, my other hero.
In the years that followed came more losses: extraordinary and very important women from my family and also friends, souls with whom I was deeply connected. With each farewell, my sense of stability and my view of life changed. But my resilience also grew.
The loss of my brother was a true turning point. It changed my direction and led me down a path of growth and awareness. I chose to turn my pain into something of value.
I trained as a grief therapist. AMOR was born here, as a studio for the heart.
I am a child of two worlds. With my Chilean and Ecuadorian roots, raised in Belgium, I feel at home between cultures and languages. Languages have always been more to me than communication. Raised with three languages, I learned early that every word carries its own world. That is why I am so fascinated when another language says exactly what mine cannot express.
"In Japanese there is a word for which we have no translation: Ikigai. It is the reason you get up in the morning. The centre of what you love, your talents, what the world needs and what gives your existence meaning. Not because of my losses, but thanks to all my experiences in life, AMOR is my Ikigai."
A place where you can come home, feel and share.
Small groups formed according to the type of loss, so that recognition and connection can emerge. Always with something to eat and drink. A place where you can land for a while.
Pure ceremonial cacao with intention. A medicinal plant that opens the heart and helps to feel and share. A moment of coming home to yourself and to each other.

Nature has a healing power. Standing still together with what lives and moves. Not everyone can or wants to walk far, but simply being in nature is enough. You set the pace and the distance.
Food connects. We invite you to celebrate the life of your loved one with their favourite dish, a special theme or flavours that evoke memories. A table full of stories, tastes and love.
